Guru Gobind Singh (1666 – 1708) was the tenth and last human Guru of Sikhism, a warrior, poet and spiritual leader.
The Khalsa
In 1699 he founded the Khalsa, a community of committed Sikhs, giving them a distinct identity and code of conduct. He is associated with the five articles of faith.
