Ratan Tata

Ratan Tata (1937 – 2024) was an Indian industrialist and philanthropist who served as chairman of the Tata Group, one of India's largest conglomerates.

Career

He took charge of the group in 1991 and led an era of global expansion, including the acquisitions of Tetley, Corus and Jaguar Land Rover. Under his leadership the group grew across steel, automobiles, software and hospitality.
